Preventing injury in the workplace starts before employment even commences. Pre-employment (or PEM) medical screening is essential in ensuring that the right person is hired for the job – can the applicant safely complete the inherent requirements of the role? Will they be a medical risk?

Our team of specialist Occupational Physicians and Occupational Physician Registrars will help you find the right person by assessing them against legislative and company specific standards.

Our team of practitioners includes:

  • Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) Authorised Health Professionals (AHPs);

  • Oil and Gas United Kingdom (OGUK) Registered Medical Practitioners;

  • AMROA Medical Review Officers (MROs).

We offer both generic and company specific assessments that can be tailored to your needs to ensure that you choose the best person for the role and to mitigate risk in the workplace. We can also work with you to create unique and specific assessments for your workforce.

When assessment services are required outside of the Perth metropolitan area, OSHGroup’s PEM Administration Team can assist in coordinating medical assessments and follow-up testing throughout Australia and Internationally using our extensive affiliate network. Our robust Quality Assurance process sees each medical thoroughly reviewed by our Occupational Physicians and Registrars who are familiar with your business to ensure you get the best decision every time.
