Dr Leanna Perret

Dr Leanna Perret is an Occupational Physician and Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (FAFOEM).

She completed her specialist Occupational and Environmental Medicine training with OSHGroup and continues to practise as part of our team of Occupational Physicians, consulting from our West Perth clinic.

Dr Perret graduated from the University of Western Australia before completing a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Hospital and the University of Sydney. She later achieved Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2019 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety at Curtin University, providing a strong foundation across clinical medicine, workplace health, and injury management.

Her broad clinical experience spans both the public and private healthcare sectors, including intern, resident, and Medical Registrar positions at several metropolitan Perth hospitals, followed by general practice in Perth’s northern suburbs. She has also contributed to medical education as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia School of Medicine.

During her time in general practice, Dr Perret developed a strong interest in Occupational and Environmental Medicine, managing a wide range of workers’ compensation cases involving both physical injuries and complex psychological presentations. Today, her practice focuses on medicolegal assessments, independent medical examinations (IMEs), fitness for work assessments, and providing evidence-based medical opinions that assist employers, insurers, and legal professionals in making informed decisions.

Dr Perret is committed to delivering thorough, balanced, and objective assessments that support fair outcomes for all parties while helping individuals safely recover and return to work wherever possible.
