Dr Leanna Perret

Dr Leanna Perret completed her medical training at the University of Western Australia.

Following graduation, she went on to complete a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Hospital and the University of Sydney. She then undertook her specialist General Practitioner training, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019. She has also undertaken and completed a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety through Curtin University.

Dr Perret has worked extensively in the public and private health sectors, completing her intern, residency, and Medical Registrar placements at various hospitals in the Perth metropolitan area. After leaving the hospital system, Dr Perret spent time working in a private general practice setting in Perth’s northern suburbs. She has also been engaged as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Western Australia School of Medicine.

Dr Perret discovered her passion for Occupational Health whilst working in general practice. In her capacity as a General Practitioner, she has managed many Workers’ Compensation cases of differing complexity and presentation, treating both physical injuries and complex mental health claims. She has also completed employment-related medical assessments and looks forward to continuing her work in this field as part of OSHGroup’s team of Occupational Physician Registrars.
